Youth

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.  1 Timothy 4:12

MIDDLE SCHOOL

grades 6, 7 & 8

By coming alongside students who are navigating the final steps of becoming a teenager and the first years of discovering exactly what that means, our middle school ministry aims to be a safe place for students to:

  • expand on meaningful connections with peers and leaders
  • express the anxiety and awkwardness that is a common part of their experience
  • explore their faith in Christ
  • emerge as leaders and gifted members of our church
  • be equipped for their journey into adolescence and beyond

All of our programs and events provide unique ways for EBIC MIDDLE SCHOOL students to know, grow, and show their faith in Jesus!

HIGH SCHOOL

grades 9-12

Our high school ministry seeks to create an atmosphere that fosters discussion and spiritual growth, helping teens gain greater understanding and personal ownership of what they believe. Students from multiple school districts and surrounding towns make up our high school family and all are welcome! Events feature worship, opportunities to build relational connections, and ways to serve our community. Our ministry team includes a dedicated group of trained adults, ready to teach, encourage, and challenge.

While we value this group as a place to come together to learn and grow, we also believe that the youth play a vital role in the broader church and are not the church of tomorrow, but the church of today! Youth also serve in kids ministry, worship ministry, and even lead and teach within the high school group.

DISABILITY MINISTRY

Supporting and embracing families and individuals affected by disability so they can grow in Christ and use their gifts to share God’s love.

Everyone has their own individual needs and each person with a disability should be supported to enable them to engage with church life. We strive to embrace families and individuals affected by disability and allow them to grow closer to God and to their church family. Valuing the gifts and talents of all, we provide support so that individuals affected by disability can serve alongside their brothers and sisters in Christ. If you have a need, please let us know how we can serve you.

Do you have a desire to learn and build relationships? You may participate in the disability ministry in these ways:

BUDDY MINISTRY

Buddies are paired with children or adults with disabilities to provide social, behavioral, and physical support to attend and participate in church activities, either in an integrated setting or in a separate setting, if needed.

EMERGENCY SUPPORT TEAM

Our team supports families and individuals affected by disabilities when they encounter sudden changes in plans or emergency situations. Needs may include childcare, transportation, or care for an individual with a disability.
