Description: We know that Advent is about preparing for Christ's first (and second) coming, but is there any value in preparing for Advent itself?! Why does the liturgical church calendar exist, anyway, and why don't we care about it as much as perhaps we should? Using a variety of resources, we'll explore and discuss together how the church calendar came to be and the richness it holds for us who believe.
