Description: Attention all old fogies, codgers, geezers and people in their twenties, thirties, or fifties who never got a great SAT score, got fired from their first job, or need a little retooling during their midlife crisis! A new class for late bloomers is about to emerge from the nursing home. Get ready for Spring. Pull out your rototiller. Plant some new fruit trees. It’s January, but harvest is right around the corner! We will meet for 8 weeks, considering transforming stories of biblical latecomers–men and women God chose when the world told them they were beyond their prime. We will also recommend reading a secular book by the same name–Late Bloomers: The Power of Patience in a World Obsessed with Early Achievement.
