Description: The scripture of Joshua, Judges, and Ruth are a record of how God brought down nations while preserving His people and His covenant of redemption, during a turbulent and destructive time. It is also the most uncomfortable part of scripture for Christians given the blood-soaked conquest narratives, as God directs the Israelites to take back their promised land. Over 11 weeks, we will tie together the scripture, archaeology, history, and poetry that have come down to us, while examining the depth of the sovereignty of God.
