Description: Join us for a reading through A Grief Observed by C.S. Lewis with complementary selections from the Gospels of John, Mark, and Luke. Through these texts, we will take a fresh look at the grief of Christ prior to his crucifixion. In doing so, we will share and grow in our faith as we bring new context to Christ's sacrifice in this Easter season. At the end of the study we will be viewing the movie, Shadowlands, to conclude this brief glimpse of grief. We will share snacks and desserts at the Gettle home on Thursday evenings.
